Hi 
I managed to make a 1-to-1 AV prototype with AIR/iOS. I have used your staging servers with wizard generate session. The video quality looks good but I have some issues with audio.
So I have two questions:
- Would it get better on production servers? Can I test directly there even if my app is not complete (just a basic prototype). My client needs to see AV quality before committing to the project.
- Can you tell me what is the ideal configuration for a 1-to-1 AV session between an iPhone and a PC operator, with the iPhone being communicating over 3G? I have tried a few combination of Echo suppression and Multiplexer options but I don't see any clear difference. Can you please advice on what you think it would be the best setting for this scenario? I used the IP of the PC that opens the communication.

What issues are you having with audio?

Also, are you using the latest version of the OpenTok.swc file and AIR 2.7? These support client-side acoustic echo cancellation, which performs better than the server-side echo suppression in earlier versions of OpenTok.

Latency of audio may improve if you switch to the production servers.

Yes, I have both AIR 2.7 and the latest swc file. 
What is coming out is barely understandable because there are several cuts.. so you cannot really catch a whole sentence. Do you want to test it to tell me if it is just me? If you can give me an email address I can send you the url I am using and the app if you like, so we try to have a chat...

Hey Jon,
Out of interest where are you connecting to our servers from? In our staging environment we have only 1 server which is based on the west coast of the U.S. In production however we have more servers distributed around the world. If you are connecting from somewhere other than the west coast of the U.S. you will see significant improvement when switching to our production environment.
Feel free to move your application to the production environment to try this out.

I see.. I am connecting from the UK. I will consider this as a worse scenario then. For production do you have any servers in Europe?

Yes, we have production servers in Europe. When you switch from staging to production, you should notice less latency.
