Build fails for IOS Simulator using PhoneGap-Plugin

Postby Guest-ouhbqiiqob » Tue Nov 20, 2012 8:25 am

Hi,

I am trying to create an IOS app using the Opentok PhoneGap Plugin. I have followed the instructions exactly as mentioned in the git repo "readme" for PhoneGap Plugin.
I am building for the iOS 6 simulator. I know that the camera won't work on the simulator, but I need to test other features. Following is the error I got:

Undefined symbols for architecture i386:

Those symbols are no longer in the iOS build; please make sure you've got the most recent framework from github: https://github.com/opentok/opentok-ios-sdk

Thanks that worked :) .
I was cloning the ios helloworld project which contains the ios-sdk as a subproject, but somehow that was grabbing the older version.
I cloned the latest ios-sdk separately and it worked.
